We worked with an ambitious legal tech start up to deliver a demo they could showcase to investors to raise a £5 million pre-seed round. They needed something fast, to keep their timeline on track, but it had to be impressive enough to justify a £5 million pre-seed investment.
The Startup Challenge
As ever with startups and new products, the challenge was to deliver enough of the right value to gain the investment. Fortunately, we have a founder with significant experience of startup fundraising, so we drew on her expertise to strike the right balance. We worked with our client to identify the critical USPs for the product, and for investors, and built the MVP around the most compelling features.
The Need for Speed
We used the latest tools to enhance speed of delivery, alongside more traditional skills where needed to deliver an expert demo that worked perfectly. In a world of vibe coding, investors now expect to see a demo or an MVP. But they tell us that most vibe coded demos are buggy and imperfect. As a founder, delivering a perfect pitch only to be let down by a buggy demo is catastrophic.
